Brent's multi-asset trading approach combines qualitative macro and mass sentiment analysis with quantitative price, volatility, and correlation factors. He aims for steady account value growth with a methodical process involving relatively modest position sizes much of the time, and when conditions become unusually favorable he seeks larger gains to hopefully provide an extra potential "power booster" to returns when better opportunities present themselves.
Brent relocated to the Netherlands from the US in 2016 and founded a boutique asset management financial services provider, Assist FX. His experience includes co-managing the formation of a Forex and Commodity Pool Limited Partnership. He also attended live OPEC press conferences in Austria as an Analyst for the purpose of creating energy research reports.
Brent earned a Master of Science in Finance degree with a focus in investment finance from the University of Denver and graduated from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He holds a Series 3 Commodities and Futures license and a Series 34 Off-Exchange Forex license.
